In January 2007, Francis set up the green shopping guide to try and provide an impartial green business directory to almost every green and ethical product and service in the United Kingdom.
Born and brought up in the rural countryside of Mid Wales, he was fuelled by the desire to make it easier to find genuine green and ethical products and services in the UK and in turn reduce the pressures we put on the environment and on our health (our own and others).
This guide is part of his commitment to do just that. He designed the guide to work with all of its users; all comments, ideas and advice from people using the guide are used to improve and update the guide ensuring it provides the information and services people need and want.
He plans over the coming years to implement other schemes along with the guide to make green and ethical shopping easier, cheaper and more time efficient.
