The Green Shopping Guide is entirely free to use, and will always remain so. However any donations you can make, no matter how small, will help us to improve our services and further the promotion of green and ethical living.

Thank you.

Get Involved!

The guide is designed to be run by you, if you think there is something missing, (which there will be), let us know! We are constantly trying to improve the guide, but we need you to tell us what you want! Email us, write to us, whatever you want. Write business reviews so others can learn from your experiences with certain businesses, recommend new businesses, categories or ideas and just spread the word!Tell your friends, family and work colleagues. Anyone who will listen. Try and report broken links, errors or mistakes when you find them. This guide is just a starting point, get involved and help build up the guide so that anyone can find a green and ethical provider for any product or service they need. It is possible.

The more people use the guide, the bigger difference we can make. By buying green and ethical products and services, the more we can reduce the pressures put on our ever fragile environment. Not to mention our own health and the welfare of millions of other people across the world.

So please, do what you can, when you can.

How do we decide who gets listed and who doesn't?

We use the term 'green business' to describe a business who provides green and ethical products and services in a green and ethical way. A prime example of this type of ethical business is The Phone Coop, they provide a phone and internet service whilst operating a strict environmental and ethical business policy.

We assess each business individually on their own individual credentials. We recognise that no business is ever the same, so we make sure that every aspect is taken into account. All those listed on the green shopping guide must agree to our ethos, which provides the basic platform for a green and ethical business. We monitor their activities through their customers, by inviting everyone to return to the guide and write a review of their experiences with the green and ethical businesses they have used.

We are a green and ethical shopping directory covering a wide range of green and ethical business from around the UK. Interested in ethical business products or services? Want to find a certain products or service that is kinder to the environment? Over the coming years we want to build a directory of every green and ethical products and service in the UK making it possible for everyone to find a provider of a products or service they need without the environmental or unethical attachments we see today. Help us. Recommend new ideas, products and services. Monitor new green and ethical shopping areas and suggest new categories for the green shopping guide. Together we can build the largest directory to green and ethical shopping in the UK.
